A Screening of the Documentary "Texas Zydeco" will take place on
Friday, September 30, 2016 at
The Deluxe Theatre on Lyons Avenue in Houston, Texas.Tickets can be purchased at

A Documentary screening of the documentary on the history of Zydeco Music in Texas entitled, Texas Zydeco will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the The Deluxe Theatre on Lyons Avenue from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.  After the screening, there will be a question an answer session with the filmmakers followed by an after-party performance by Fred Rusk & The Zydeco Hi-Steppers, and dance lessons by Anytime Swing’line and Dance Production.

All attendees to Texas Zydeco will receive their own specially packaged DVD, courtesy of Houston Community College, the film’s backer.  This is a worthy event for all those in the Zydeco Nation interested in learning about the history of Zydeco Music and Creole Culture.
