C.J. Chenier, the son of the King of Zydeco Music, Clifton Chenier, will give an
upclose and personal account of his life and musical experiences with the greatest performer and musician in Zydeco music.
Clifton Chenier won a Grammy Award from the Recording Academy for his 1982 album, “I’m Here,” and his album "Bogalusa Boogie" was added to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2010.
In 2014, Clifton Chenier became the is the only Zydeco Musician to receive the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the Recording Academy's highest honor.
In 2016, Clifton Chenier’s 1976 album, “Bogalusa Boogie,” was inducted into the Library of Congress.
